About

I first studied English literature in Tehran, then moved into software development. In Toulouse I spent more than a year and a half at Devaxis, first as an intern and then as an apprentice: conversational agents built on language models, data pipelines, and web and mobile applications delivered to clients. In October 2026 I obtained the professional qualification in AI and data science development (EPSI).

I am now preparing the TRIED Master’s in Computer Science (information processing and data exploitation) at IPST-Cnam Toulouse. I am looking for the company that will host me as an apprentice for two years, three weeks in the company for every week in training. I am available now.

I like websites that are clear, useful and carefully made.

Projects

Kaggle competitions

Two image-segmentation competitions, entered in 2026 alongside my job.

In the UMUD Challenge from the University of Basel, the task is to measure muscle architecture on ultrasound images: pennation angle, fascicle length and thickness. My approach combines U-Net segmentation with a geometric computation that follows the annotators' protocol. On the public leaderboard I am in the top 7% of 458 teams.

In the Solar Filament Segmentation Challenge (IEEE BigData Cup), the task is to outline solar filaments on H-alpha images from the GONG observatory. My Panoptic Quality score is 0.39, above the 0.35 threshold the organisers consider useful.

Le réflexe cueillette

A guide to foraging in France. It sets out, département by département, what the law says about picking wild mushrooms and berries, with a calendar of what grows in each season. I designed and developed the site, which is in French. The site was featured by La Dépêche du Midi in September 2026.

The hall of a Persian bath-house

This site also holds a more personal piece of work: the hall of a Persian bath-house, rebuilt in three dimensions after the Sultan Amir Ahmad hammam in Kashan, Iran. You walk through it in your browser. The tiles were traced one by one from photographs of real tilework. The visit is better on a computer.

  • Designed data pipelines that collect data from astronomical and geolocation APIs and structure it to generate personalised content.
  • Integrated the OpenAI API to extract information and generate personalised analyses.
  • Gathered client requirements, wrote specifications and developed in short sprints; deployed and maintained web and mobile applications.
Internship, January to May 2025
  • Developed ARIA with a team, an AI assistant that automates internal management by detecting user intent and carrying out business actions through function calling.
  • Integrated Gemini for text and voice processing; designed the data architecture and built a dashboard with visualisations.
  • Co-wrote the functional specification, more than 80 pages covering 19 interconnected systems.
